Archbishop Irénée concelebrates with Metropolitan Sotirios for the Feast of the Transfiguration

On Saturday, 6 August, at Metamorphosis Greek Orthodox Church in Toronto, His Eminence Archbishop Irénée concelebrated the Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Transfiguration with His Eminence Metropolitan Archbishop Sotirios of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Canada. Also concelebrating were Rev Fr Charambalos Elles, rector of Metamorphosis church whose patronal feast day it was, and V Rev Fr Geoffrey Ready (both pictured, below), as well as Rev Fr Bohdan Hladio (Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada) and V Rev Father Ignatios Delis.

Following the Liturgy, Metropolitan Sotirios presented Archbishop Irénée with a special panagia set with a Canadian design featuring red maple leaves.
