Vladyka Irénée Visits St Gregory of Nyssa, Kingston, ON

His Eminence Archbishop Irénée made his annual archpastoral visit to St Gregory of Nyssa Orthodox Church in Kingston, Ontario, on Sunday May 26th, 2024.
His visit celebrates the second anniversary of the purchase of our new property in June 2022. There were 78 people in attendance for the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy.
The Archbishop received into the catechumenate a local Mohawk family. This brings the number of catechumens at St Gregory of Nyssa Parish over the past 2 years to twenty-six (26). Twelve adults have been baptized in the new building since we purchased it in 2022. To God be the glory! He is working through the parish to shine His holy light into southeastern Ontario.
