Archbishop Irénée Celebrates the Feast of Pentecost in Rawdon

The festal Divine Liturgy for Pentecost was celebrated outdoors at St Seraphim of Sarov Church in Rawdon, Québec, presided by His Eminence Archbishop Irénée and Fr Deacon Denis Letunovsky.

It was a beautiful day: Mother nature was at her best with greenery, the birds were singing, and a nice breeze blew through the rustling leaves. We could not have asked for a nicer day for Pentecost! And of course, social distancing was respected.

All-Canada Orthodox Prayer Service: Mattins for Lazarus Saturday

We are continuing again on 10 April our recent Friday tradition of drawing as many people across our archdiocese as possible to pray together during this time of lockdown and isolation.

On Friday at 7pm EDT (4pm PDT) Mattins for Lazarus Saturday will be served. Fr Vincent Lehr will deliver an opening address. A small poster for sharing the event along with the service book are attached. Please promote this in your communities if possible.
