Recently Archbishop Irenée and Archdiocesan council members from across Canada came to the Vancouver area for an in-person meeting. At the end of a day of meetings, they adjourned to St Herman's, Langley for a tour of our present building and our temple-in-progress. Parish council members and volunteers from St Herman's hosted a time of fellowship in the space that is now rapidly taking shape.

Nearly one hundred friends and clergy from the last two decades gathered on Sunday, April 23rd (Thomas Sunday) in Hamilton, Ontario, to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of All Saints of North America Orthodox Church.   

Following the morning festal Liturgy, clergy from Toronto, Niagara, and Ottawa joined His Eminence Archbishop Irénée at the head tables for a grand banquet to mark the missionary work of the parish over twenty years.

In these troubled times, this good news fills us with hope since the victory of Christ over death is the true meaning of our existence on this earth.

For the feast of the Veneration of the Holy Cross at Mid-Lent, His Eminence Archbishop Irénée visited Christ the Saviour Cathedral in Toronto.

During the hierarchical Liturgy, Sam Jbeily (the cathedral treasurer) was tonsured as a reader. And at the end of Liturgy, Archpriest Father John Shandra received congratulations from the Archbishop and parish on the 30th anniversary of his ordination.
