Lengua Viva, une maison d'édition fondée par Ioana Dimitriu, une paroissienne canadienne d'origine roumaine de la cathédrale orthodoxe de l'Annonciation à Ottawa, offre des cahiers d'activités pour les enfants orthodoxes.

Ces nouveaux cahiers d'activités peuvent être utilisés en divers contextes de groupe, tel l'école du dimanche, les études bibliques lors de congés et les camps d'été.

Activity books for Orthodox children are available from Lengua Viva, a publishing company established by Ioana Dimitriu, a Romanian-Canadian parishioner of the Annunciation Orthodox Cathedral in Ottawa.

These new activity books would be appropriate for use in various group settings, such as Sunday School, Vacation Bible Studies, and summer camps.

Our dear sister in Christ, Mother Nila, was born Irene Lebedeff on March 9, 1927 of Russian parents in Riga, Latvia. Throughout her long and fruitful life, Mother Nila lived in Latvia, Poland, Peru and Quebec. She was married and had two children. After the death of her husband, she was tonsured a nun at the Monastery of the Protection of the Mother of God in Bussy-en-Othe, France. Returning to Quebec, she spent the past 30 years of her life in Rawdon, QC.
