Sa Sainteté le Patriarche œcuménique Bartholomée accueillera le second Sommet de Halki ayant pour thème « Théologie, écologie et la Parole ». Coparrainé par l’Université du sud du New Hampshire, le sommet se tiendra sur l’île de Halki du 8 au 10 juin 2015.
Lors du Samedi des défunts précédant la sainte Pentecôte, les moines de l’ermitage de la sainte Annonciation ont célébré la quarantième Divine Liturgie de la Sorokoust. La première de ces Liturgies avait eu lieu le jour de Radonitsa (« Jour de réjouissance » célébré le mardi suivant le Dimanche de Thomas).
L’ambassadeur russe au Canada a rendu visite à notre monastère à l’occasion de la dédicace de la stèle à la mémoire de nos vétérans de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. La stèle se trouve sur le site de notre monument dédié aux droits humanitaires et à la justice sociale. Les photos ci-jointes ont été prises lors de cette visite de Son Excellence.

The Youth Department of the Orthodox Church in America, in partnership with the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. is launching a new on-line program—“Praxis: Christian Life Realized”—for high schoolers, college students, and young adults. The sessions will consist of monthly Google hangouts giving participants an opportunity to engage in a variety of practical topics.

On the Soul Saturday before Holy Pentecost the monks of the Holy Annunciation Hermitage celebrated the fortieth Divine Liturgy of the Sorokoust. The Liturgies began on Radonitsa (“Day of Rejoicing” celebrated on the Tuesday after Thomas Sunday).
